Who are we?

We are the Australian Government Solicitor. We are unique in that we are the only law firm in Australia wholly dedicated to government. We have over 100 years of knowledge and experience in supporting the public interest.

We are a fully commercial and competitive national law practice, operating as a government business.

We act for Australian Government departments and agencies and for entities in which the Australian Government has an interest, domestically and internationally.

We have over 400 lawyers and eight offices located in every state and territory.
