Security and EnforcementKristy is the Deputy Chief Solicitor for Security and Enforcement in the Dispute Resolution practice and a highly experienced litigation lawyer.
She advises and acts for Commonwealth departments, law enforcement bodies and national security agencies in complex, high-profile and sensitive matters. Her practice focuses on litigation, law enforcement, national security, investigations, the exercise of investigatory powers, and the protection of sensitive and classified information. She has extensive experience managing matters in federal and state courts and tribunals, as well as commissions of inquiry, coronial inquests and other public inquiries.
Kristy is recognised for her expertise in law enforcement and national security matters and regularly advises on significant legal, strategic and operational issues. As a senior leader within AGS’s Dispute Resolution practice, Kristy contributes to the development and implementation of strategic priorities, supports the delivery of high-quality legal services to Commonwealth clients, and is committed to building capability through the recruitment, development and mentoring of lawyers. She is also a strong advocate for staff wellbeing, professional growth and a collaborative, client-focused culture.
