Senior Executive Lawyer
Emily joined AGS in 2015. She acted as a Senior Executive Lawyer from August 2024, and was permanently appointed to the role in December 2024.
Emily has substantial experience managing complex national security and information protection matters. She has acted on a wide range of clients, including litigation and advice work concerning public interest immunity claims and the protection of information more broadly, subpoenas, summary offences, civil penalties arising under Australia’s anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regime, extradition, and post-sentence orders for serious, high-risk offenders.
During her time with AGS, Emily received an Australia Day Achievement award as a member of the Western Sydney Airport team for providing exemplary support and advice to the Western Sydney Airport project. She was also the recipient of a Departmental Secretary’s award in 2017 for her contribution as part of the Office of the Solicitor Assisting the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse Team. Emily also holds a Client Services Manager role.
