Brendan has a broad practice and advises in all areas of public law, including administrative law, constitutional law and statutory interpretation. He has particular expertise in employment law.
He advises government clients on all aspects of public sector employment law, including on the engagement of Commonwealth employees under the Public Service Act 1999 (Cth) and other agency specific legislation, the operation of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), the interpretation of enterprise agreements and other industrial instruments, employee entitlements, and workplace disputes.
Brendan also has extensive experience advising on the development of industrial relations and other legislation.
