Senior Executive Lawyer

Leah West is part of AGS’s Commercial practice and has been with AGS for over 20 years. She was appointed to the role of Senior Executive Lawyer in February 2025.

Leah is a senior legal practitioner recognised by Commonwealth clients for her expertise and skill in the establishment of grant programs and drafting of grant agreements, the establishment and implementation of probity frameworks for a range of activities, and complex procurement projects.

She has worked on a number of significant funding agreements including recently advising on the agreement for the hosting of the Men’s and Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2027 and 2029, on the intergovernmental agreements and arrangements for the 2032 Olympics and Paralympic Games, and projects related to Western Sydney Airport, one of the largest infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia in recent years. She was part of the team that won an Australia Day Award for providing exemplary support and advice to the Western Sydney Airport project.
