Senior General Counsel

Piccolo has 15 years’ experience in public law, advising on statutory interpretation, constitutional and administrative law, legislative development and implementation, and information management issues.

Since joining AGS in 2010, Piccolo has worked with a wide range of Commonwealth clients and undertaken a number of client outposts including with the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Joint Health Command within the Department of Defence and the Department of Infrastructure. He has taken part in briefings for senior officials in a range of Commonwealth agencies. He was a member of the AGS team advising the Department of Infrastructure on the Western Sydney Airport project.

Piccolo received a 2018 Australia Day Achievement Award from the Attorney-General’s Department for his outposted work on the conduct of the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey.
