Arran Gerrard speaks to the Migration Institute of Australia
In Perth on Wednesday 28 February 2018, Senior Lawyer Arran Gerrard of AGS Dispute Resolution spoke at a training workshop on visa cancellations to the Migration Institute of Australia. Arran works out of AGS Perth and is a member of our Migration Network.
Arran's talk to an audience mainly composed of migration agents was on the history and development of s 501 of the Migration Act 1958 and went through the various pieces of legislation that have amended it and also the series of binding Ministerial directions.
The workshop was co-presented by the Institute and Perth's Estrin Saul Lawyers. Partner Daniel Estrin said they were 'very fortunate also to have had Arran Gerrard from the Australian Government Solicitor as a guest speaker.'
