Louise Vardanega PSM appointed to the Board of the Australian Government Legal Network

The Australian Government Legal Network (AGLN) aims to support the professional development of government lawyers, enhance the delivery of legal services to the Australian Government, and support the Attorney-General as First Law Officer. The AGLN also facilitates information-sharing by lawyers employed by the Australian Government.

Last week, AGS's Chief Operating Officer Louise Vardanega PSM was appointed as a member of the AGLN Board. Her nomination was endorsed by the General Counsel Working Group.

The AGLN will soon be transitioning into the Australian Government Legal Service (AGLS). The transition to the AGLS has the in-principle support of the Government and will be informed by a Transition Steering Committee. Louise has also been appointed to the Committee.

AGS looks forward to providing support to contribute to the success of the AGLS.
