AGS lawyers support Youth Law Cyber Volunteer Project
An additional 21 AGS lawyers recently joined our initial cohort of 17 lawyers participating in the Cyber Volunteer Project (CVP). CVP is a partnership between Youth Law Australia (YLA) and King & Wood Mallesons (KWM), bringing together a network of pro bono lawyers across Australia from partner firms including KWM, ASIC, Telstra and Microsoft. AGS has, as part of our pro bono program, partnered with YLA since 2019.
YLA, previously known as the National Children’s and Youth Law Centre, is a community legal centre dedicated to representing the rights and interests of children and young people under the age of 25, advising on issues ranging from civil and administrative law to criminal and family law.
Our lawyers recently participated in a virtual induction with the Principal Solicitor of YLA before formally becoming part of the AGS cohort supporting this initiative, which provides invaluable assistance to disadvantaged members of our community.
The CVP continues to provide an opportunity for AGS to make a valuable pro bono contribution. For further details visit the AGS pro bono page.
