Course outline and objectives
This 1 hour session will look at the different types of legal entity that Commonwealth entities are likely to encounter in procurement, funding and general contracting. Such entities include public and private companies, incorporated associations, partnerships, trusts and sole traders. The session provides tips on how to identify the entity, how to correctly describe the entity in contract materials, and how to conduct some basic due diligence on the entity. The aim is to ensure attendees are equipped to identify issues that might arise depending on who you are contracting with.
