AGS offers a diverse variety of courses, ranging from administrative law, freedom of information and privacy, to employment law, advice-writing and other topics relevant to government law. These sessions are designed for Commonwealth government departments and agencies to assist their employees (both lawyers and non-lawyers) in acquiring or boosting the legal knowledge and skills required to undertake their roles efficiently.
Our presenters are all AGS lawyers who are subject matter experts in the courses they teach. Our training sessions are full of interactive exercises and examples, spark challenging discussion, and always draw on the valuable experience of the participants. Those who complete a course leave with new knowledge, valuable insight and a fresh perspective.
All courses attract CLE/CPD points (see table below); more information is available on our CPD page.
The courses offered will only run if sufficient registrations have been received.
We offer some complimentary places to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australian Government employees.
